An insider claimed that the show could be very different next season.

Channel 7 has hit back at rumours that the network is set to massively shake up the next season of Farmer Wants A Wife.
The program has historically had a high success rate in sparking long-term relationships, marriages, and families.
But an insider told Sky News Australia that if the 2026 season ended with “failed matches”, it could “affect” the show’s brand.
The anonymous person added that Seven doesn’t want to “run the risk of tanking” one of its best-performing programs and could improve the “stakes” for the next instalment.
The network didn’t comment on that speculation when approached by Yahoo Lifestyle, but it did point out how successful the season has been so far.
This season is the network’s highest-rated in five years, averaging 1.24 million viewers per episode. That’s up 18 per cent on last year.
The show is particularly resonating with people in the 25 to 54 age group and, on 7plus alone, viewing is up 56 per cent.
On Monday, Farmer Wants A Wife beat both Channel 10’s MasterChef and Channel 9’s Travel Guides, both of which air in the same time slot.
That’s an impressive feat considering how popular the cooking reality TV show has been over the years.
Farmer Wants A Wife pulled in an audience average of 946,000 while Travel Guides saw 891,000 and MasterChef had 677,000 viewers, according to TV Blackbox.

The Sky News insider also suggested there could be a shakeup of host Natalie Gruzlewski, with alternatives, like Johanna Griggs, under consideration.
Natalie took over from Samantha Armytage, who now hosts The Golden Bachelor for Channel 9.
Seven didn’t respond to those rumours.

Even though viewer numbers have been soaring, this season of FWAW has not been without its share of criticism.
They were concerned about the amount of drama that erupted early in the season, with some even saying it was getting close to the explosive, dramatic scenes from Married at First Sight.
“Why the drama FWAW? This is becoming a big, steamy Temu turd version of MAFS,” one said.
“While I am the first to admit I do love a bit of drama to keep things interesting, I do hope they don’t start going down the Married At First Sight Australia route,” another added.
