“Not My Farmer!” The BRUTAL Finale Rejection That Left Fans Absolutely DEVASTATED!
The stage was set for a gentle break-up on the finale of Farmer Wants A Wife – then a contestant decided to flip the script.
You only had to hear Farmer Jarrad’s opening sigh when he met with one of his final ladies during the finale of Farmer Wants A Wife to know what was about to happen to case manager Yvonne.
“From the moment we met, I felt a sense of calm and warmth around you, which is really special,” the 41-year-old almond farmer from South Australia began.
It was a nervous start, but one the farmer didn’t get to finish, with Yvonne cutting him short before he went on with all the backhanded compliments.

“I feel like I need to say something before you make your decision,” she interrupted.
“I have been vulnerable and open and as honest more than I thought I would be but I don’t feel like you’ve even met me way. I feel like I’ve been begging for answers that I never got.”
As he stood motionless, Jarrad absorbed more blows like a champ.
“Going to the home visits, I had the feedback from my friends and family and their feedback has solidified the way that I’ve felt,” she continued.
During the home visits, Yvonnes nearest and dearest raised their concerns about her settling with Farmer Jarrad during an emergency kitchen meeting, with one adamant “he’s not for her.”
With a little compliment aimed at her competitor, Brodie, the brunette decided it was time to leave. Like, immediately leave. No hugs goodbye, no well-wishes, no touching words about enjoying her journey…
“I do still want to find my love but I am sorry but you are not my farmer. Goodbye,” she said before walking off into the bushes.

And Jarrad didn’t stop her, either.
“Ok thank you, bye bye” came his reply.
During a piece to camera, Jarrad admitted he was “blindsided” by what had just unfolded.
“I’m surprised. I didn’t see it unfolding that way but we’ve had an amazing journey and I felt like I’ve grown a lot from the time that I’ve spent with Yvonne,” he said.
“It would’ve been nice to say some of those things to her but she obviously picked up that she wasn’t the person I was going to pick today.”
Indeed she wasn’t and all was forgotten when the farmer and single dad met with 33-year-old primary school teacher, Brodie, who was always going to be his final pick.
“I know you’d make an amazing wife and mother. I want you to know that you are enough and, Brodie, I choose you. I’m falling in love with you,” he declared.

An overwhelmed Brodie admitted she’d fallen for Jarrad too.
“I’ve definitely fallen for you,” she replied.
“You’re very easy to love, and I look forward to what our future will look like.”
Speaking of overwhelmed, it was then over to rodeo cowboy Dylan, 24, to break someone else’s heart. This time, it was 22-year-old polo player Scarlett’s turn.
Despite once describing their connection as “undeniable”, Dylan gently told Scarlett that his heart belonged to Ally through a flood of tears.

Unlike Yvonne, she handled the rejection well.
“At the end of the day, I want you to be happy, and you’re so brave standing here. I completely understand your concerns as well,” she said before pulling the farmer in for a last hug.
Meanwhile, chocolate shop assistant Ally was convinced she was going home before Dylan eventually declared he had fallen in love with her.
“I have to follow how I feel… I love you,” he gushed, the relief seen on his face could be felt by everyone watching on at home.

For shocked Ally, it was a confession she hoped to hear but wasn’t completely sure would come her way after doing the runner towards the end of the series and then dramatically returning.
“Oh my God, that is not where I thought it was going. I thought I was doomed,” she replied, before Dylan warned: “You’re not allowed to run now, though!”
With the final decisions now made, next it’s over to the big farmer reunion episode to see who actually made it after the cameras stopped rolling.
Stay tuned…
