Robert Irwin and his mum, Terri, have shared whether the late Steve Irwin would’ve participated in Dancing With The Stars.
The Crocodile Hunter was known for many things, from preservation to his wicked sense of humour, but dancing wasn’t one of them.
Robert, who won the DWTS title last year, laughed when asked if he thought his dad would’ve considered appearing on the show, while Terri stared blankly, agreeing that Steve lacked rhythm.
“No… he would’ve not done any stars thing,” Terri told Parade Magazine.
Robert said that not even his professional dancing partner, Witney Carson, could have taught Steve how to dance well.
Terri recalled a hilarious moment from nearly 30 years ago, when she was pregnant with Bindi.
“Russell Crowe has a band that used to be called 30 Odd Foot of Grunts, and Steve got up on stage with him,” she said.
“They gave him a tambourine and the whole band still talks about Steve’s complete lack of rhythm.”

“Only person they’ve ever seen to just not understand the concept of rhythm,” Robert added.
“There was none.. the tambourine won the fight,” Terri said.
Robert said that he and Bindi’s “musicality genetics” must have come from Terri.
However, Terri said she “doesn’t know”, but the tambourine moment has been remembered for nearly three decades.
Fans agreed Steve likely would not have won the show like his two children did, but would’ve been hilarious entertainment.
“He would have done it because he feared nothing but maybe not have won,” one wrote.
“The man was always tripping and falling. Imagine him trying to boot, scoot or boogie on stage,” another said.
“Terri needs to do it. If all the kids’ talent came from her, it’s time to show us how it’s done,” a third wrote.
