Married At First Sight bride Stella Mickunaite has divulged more details of her split from fiancé Filip Gregov.

It was revealed this week that the 2026 season’s major success story had come to an end.

Stella and Filip were the only couple to make it all the way to the end on the Channel 9 show, but they took it a step further with a major proposal at Sydney Harbour.

They moved in together shortly after the experiment ended, with Stella packing up her life in Sydney to be with Filip in Melbourne.

But she’s now opened up about what happened in the dying days of their relationship.

“As our relationship grew, I believed moving to Melbourne made the most sense for us,” she said.

“It offered more family support, better work opportunities for Filip and a more affordable place for us to build a life together.

“I’ve always been realistic about my biological clock, and starting a family has been something l’ve hoped for for a long time. I genuinely thought we were making those decisions together.”

Stella claimed that Filip ended their engagement and life together during a phone call, which left her “heartbroken”, “deeply saddened”, and “incredibly embarrassed”.

“While I respect that everyone has the right to choose what’s best for them, I also feel it’s important that the facts are clear,” she added.

Stella thought they were building “toward the same future” and believed Filip had been processing breaking up with her for “some time”.

So when the alleged call came through, it left her “completely blindsided”.

In her lengthy Instagram post this week, she admitted she had “made mistakes” and “had regrets” in the relationship.

But the vague message to her fans touched on relationship fears and how endings often have a lot of lessons to learn.

Filip has remained largely silent in the wake of his ex-fiancée’s claims.

He posted on Instagram on Monday a few pictures of the World Cup final as well as a sunrise.

The Melburnian also mentioned the need for “balance” in life in a post that was uploaded on Sunday.

“Balance doesn’t mean every area gets equal attention every day. It means nothing important gets neglected for too long,” he said.

“You keep showing up. You adjust when needed. You stay grounded in what matters. That’s the goal.”
