Married At First Sight star Stella Mickunaite is begging Australia to go easy on her ex-partner Filip Gregov.
Earlier this week, the Sydney beauty specialist opened up about the demise of her relationship and engagement.
She claimed Filip ended things through a phone call, which is something Aussies feel very strongly about.
A poll of 1,800 Yahoo Lifestyle readers found that 88 per cent were opposed to that idea.
But Stella is asking the country to quit taking out their feelings on Filip.
“This really needs to stop,” she wrote.
“Whatever assumptions are being made online, the reality is that this is someone I genuinely believed I was going to spend my life with.
“Seeing so much hate directed at another human being is heartbreaking.
“Our relationship ending doesn’t make either of us villains.
Stella opened up about her breakup with Filip in a lengthy Instagram post.

“We were two people trying to navigate something incredibly difficult, and call me delulu, but breakups do hurt on either sides.
“I don’t think I’m the only one hurting here, so seeing this is actually making me sick.
“Yes, it came as a blindsided decision, but at the end of the day, YOU DON’T have to choose sides.”
She said people needed to “choose kindness” as neither she nor Filip deserved abuse online.
Her message to the country was a comment underneath her ex-fiancé’s social media post addressing the breakup.
Days after Stella first aired details of their split, the Melburnian wanted to set the record straight.
“I initially chose not to comment publicly because I didn’t want to contribute to online negativity,” he said.
“All I will say is, I’m not going to debate our relationship on social media.
“I respect what we shared, wish Stella the best, and I’m moving forward with peace and gratitude.”
He thanked everyone who had reached out to see if he was okay.
Filip and Stella were the only couple from the 2026 season of Married At First Sight to go the distance on the experiment.
They got engaged on the Channel 9 show’s finale, becoming only the second couple to do so ever.
