Samantha Armytage Just Dropped A Massive Romance Hint At The Logies And Fans Are Convinced She’s Hiding Someone
Sam Armytage is back in the early-morning spotlight – even if only for a brief moment – and looked every bit the star on the red carpet at the 2026 TV WEEK Logies.
Wearing a plunging bronze jumpsuit, with her golden locks flowing, Sam spoke to TV WEEK about her return to breakfast TV on Nine’s Today Show, the upcoming season of The Golden Bachelor, her daring Logies look, and whether the 49-year-old star has met any new eligible Bachelors of her own.
Speaking of her cameo on Today, Sam was quick to assert she’s not 100 per cent back on breakfast TV and teased that her future opportunities remained open.
“Well, I’m not back on breakfast TV, I’m just filling in,” she told TV WEEK. “I love breakfast TV, it’s always fun, I’ve always loved it, it’s a good bunch of people. I’ve had a good time filling in and we’ll see. We’ll see what’s next!”

Keeping things elusive, when asked if she’d ever return back to mornings for a longer stint, Sam said to “watch this space”.
“We’ll see!” she said. “I’d have to think about it. It’s a lot. It’s tough hours, it would be a lot of attention. Watch this space.”
With Sam set to be on our screens again for The Golden Bachelor later this year, she said the show will have “a lot of love” but kept her own love life firmly under wraps. Sam split from her husband Richard Lavender in late 2024, after four years of marriage.
“There’s lots of love around me. No one I’m prepared to talk about with you!” she joked. “But life is good, I’m in a really happy place and there’s so many opportunities. I’m really loving life at the moment.”
With the veteran broadcaster’s milestone birthday just around the corner, Sam is stepping into her next decade with optimism, confidence and a whole lot of opportunities.
“I turn 50 next month and I feel like I’m really hitting my straps,” she shared. “This is a good time for me, so watch this space. Life is fun. It should be fun and it is. So here we go!”
