It was the reality TV split that was as amicable as it was shocking: When Farmer Wants a Wife stars Farmer Jarrad Casaretto and Brodie Anderson confirmed their relationship breakup, they did so with full hearts.

“Sometimes life doesn’t go how you imagined, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t taking you somewhere amazing,” Jarrad told his 4.5k Instagram followers in hopeful tones.

Brodie, meanwhile, was equally gushing about the man who had stolen her heart on reality TV.

“Regardless of how our story was told or the fact that I ultimately am not his person, I’m deeply grateful for the grace with which we’ve navigated this chapter together,” she explained in her own lengthy social media post.

But the expressions of gratitude and hope from two amicable exes came as rumours swirled about just how long Jarrad had been footloose and fancy free again.

Eagle-eyed fans had already spotted that the almond farmer and dad-of-two had been using the hashtags “single” and “single life” on some of his TikTok videos shared between January and July 2026.

The timing suggests that he and Brodie called it quits not long after things appeared peachy between them when the show’s reunion episode was filmed in January.

And then there was the rumour about Jarrad and another woman who graced the screens of Farmer in 2026 – brunette Queensland social worker Kyiah Jones, who competed for his affections but never even made it back to his farm.

Kyiah, 32, – one of the quieter ladies on Farmer Wants a Wife – barely got any air time during her edit, but an insider previously told New Idea that Jarrad is a “pretty reserved guy” in real life, and hinted that she may have been his type.

The source claimed that some of the women who made it further into the show had “bigger personalities” which “created more storylines”.

“Looking back, people are wondering whether the women who suited him best were overlooked,” the insider claimed, going as far as to say Jarrad and Kyiah were “talking again” and “there’s a lot of unfinished business there”.

Indeed, a glance at Farmer Jarrad’s Instagram page shows that he still follows the stunning star, but Kyiah herself responded to the furore in a comment on a TikTok video discussing the matter.

“Hey it’s Kyiah and no there is nothing between Jarrad and I,” she wrote simply.

So what’s next for Jarrad and his former flame Brodie?

Brodie was upbeat in her message to her fans.

“Every ending creates space for a new beginning and I’m hopeful for whatever my next chapter may hold,” she shared.

As for Jarrad, he’s continued sharing TikTok videos about life on his almond farm, and is excited about what the future holds.
