The Australian TV Show That Just Beat EVERYTHING Over 70 Years And The Winner Will Make You Scream

TV Week has received thousands of votes in the past few months and a winner has now been crowned.

Kath and Kim has been crowned as the best Australian television show of the last 70 years.

TV Week, which hosts the annual Logie Awards, organised a major survey ahead of the glitzy event to find the cream of the crop.

The top 20 shows were read out during the course of Sunday’s show, with Home and Away, A Country Practice, Blue Heelers, and Packed to the Rafters rounding out the top five.

The survey has been running since June, and the publication said it received thousands of votes over the last few weeks.

Only 70 titles were named in the huge list, with Puberty Blues scraping through at the bottom.

The rest of the survey was a who’s who of iconic programs, including The Wiggles (34th), Underbelly (42nd), Australian Story (58th), and Farmer Wants A Wife (68th), showcasing the diverse mix of content that caught people’s attention.
