The Baby Girl Dream That Has Jules Robinson Fighting Against The Odds At 44 — And Her Raw Confession Will Break Your Heart
The former Married At First Sight star had her first son, Ollie, with her husband, Cam Merchant, in October 2020, before welcoming Carter to their family in July 2024.
Former Married At First Sight star Jules Robinson has shared how she is trying to fall pregnant at 44.
The style icon had her first son, Ollie, with her husband, Cam Merchant, in October 2020, before welcoming her second, Carter, to their family in July 2024.
However, she told Yahoo Lifestyle that it’s a different ballgame to get pregnant now, and that she was trying to be “more intentional” this time.

“Physically, I’ve spent the last 15 months really focusing on being the healthiest version of myself,” she said, revealing she joined Bachelor star Sam Wood’s 28 by Sam Wood program.
“That’s not a number on the scales by any means, but just wanting to give my body the best possible chance for another healthy pregnancy.”
Getting pregnant later in life is no easy feat, with the Royal Women’s Hospital revealing that by the age of 40, a woman has a 50 per cent chance of being infertile.
“Many women today are choosing to delay motherhood until later in life. Most experience a few problems with their eventual pregnancy and childbirth. However, evidence shows that as women age, their chances of becoming pregnant are reduced,” the hospital states.
“Statistically, there is also an increased risk of miscarriage, stillbirth and birth defects in older women.”
The hospital added that while exercise might not guarantee or improve chances of getting pregnant, it can help your body “cope with the demands of pregnancy, childbirth and the postnatal period”.
Jules’ dream for third pregnancy at 44
She said even between her two sons, who were born less than four years apart, she noticed a massive difference in how she handled each pregnancy.
In addition to exercising, building physical strength and eating consistently, she was also working with a specialist to understand fertility.
“I am doing it a little bit differently this time, but I think, spiritually, I’ve learnt that I’m just going to trust the timings and you can’t force these things,” she told Yahoo Lifestyle.

“I can just prepare, do the work, and surrender to whatever the outcome would be.”
Over the years, she’s learnt that she needs to protect her nervous system as much as possible, including managing stress and getting enough sleep.
Jules is a mum to two boys, but she said having a daughter would be “such a different experience”.
“I just would love the experience of having a little daughter to dress up with and do the girly things,” she said.
“There’s a lot of testosterone in my house with two little boys. They are so wild, and when I see friends who have daughters, it’s just such a different experience.”
However, she said, if she ends up holding a baby boy in her arms, she is so grateful for that as well.
Jules responds to gender swaying backlash
To achieve her dream, the Big W stylist has been looking into “gender swaying”, which is a set of natural methods to try to influence the biological sex of a child before conception.
The former reality star copped backlash online in June when she revealed she was undertaking it, as people said she shouldn’t try to influence the baby’s sex.
But Jules revealed it wasn’t as big a deal as people were making out to be.
All it involved, she said, was meeting with a naturopath to understand her hormone patterns, ovulation, and overall health.
“I just think if the information’s out there, why not?” she said.
