When is the MasterChef Australia finale?
The first half of Finals Week — the Semi-final — took place on Monday, August 3 at 7.30 pm, where our final three were reduced to two.
The official MasterChef Australia Grand Finale 2026 will then kick off with the final two on Sunday, August 9 at 7pm.
What happens in the MasterChef Australia grand finale?
According to Channel 10, the Grand Finale will kick off with a Mystery Box challenge in which our top two will create a dish within 75 minutes. The ingredients will pay special tribute to some of the iconic guests that have graced the MasterChef kitchen this season.

In the final challenge, beloved and internationally acclaimed pastry chef Cherish Finden will unveil her Chinese Afternoon Tea, where our final two must create perfect replicas of her three intricate desserts, nine petit gateaux in total, in just five hours.
