You Won’t Believe the ‘Beautiful’ Secret Move Robert Irwin Just Made for Julia Morris After Her Show Was BRUTALLY AXED!

Julia Morris has revealed the sweet commitment Robert Irwin made to her after I‘m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here was axed by Channel 10.

The hosts were devastated by the decision, particularly Julia, who had worked on it for more than a decade.

At the time, it was unclear whether Ten would revive it down the line or if a rival network would snap it up.

The comedian has opened up about what she told Robert in the event of the latter option happening, which was confirmed this week.

“I rang him when it all went down and said: ‘I know you don’t need it, but if the show went somewhere else with someone different, I’m aware I’m not everyone’s cup of tea,” she recalled to TV Week.

“Your message [of conservation] is more important than my ego so, please, go forth.”

But she added that Robert had a “beautiful” response and said he wouldn’t do the reality TV show without her.

Channel 7 confirmed on Wednesday that it would be broadcasting the program for the 2027 season.

Yahoo Lifestyle reached out to the network to confirm if Robert and Julia would return as hosts, but Seven declined to comment.

It said all those details will be announced in due course.

But the network is excited for a “new chapter” for one of the most “successful and talked-about franchises” on TV.

“The iconic series will bring its signature mix of adventure, humour and high-stakes challenges to Seven audiences for the first time, as an all-new cast of celebrities brave the elements, tackle unforgettable trials and compete for the coveted title of King or Queen of the Jungle,” it said.

Angus Ross, Southern Cross Media Group’s Managing Director of Television and Streaming, said I’m A Celeb is a “proven” franchise with a “passionate” fan base and they will be bringing a “fresh” energy to the long-running show.

No premiere or filming date has been released just yet.
