A controversial reality TV star has slammed former co-stars after she was disinvited from a launch party.
The drama among the Married At First SightSeason 13 cast has spilt over into real life, with Gia Fleur revealing she was disinvited from fellow bride Julia Vogl’s Melbourne launch party due to guest “concerns”.
Ms Vogl, a TV journalist and confidence coach, was hosting an event to launch her new card game ‘Mindgasm: The Deeper Dating Game’.
She had originally invited Ms Fleur and her partner Alan; however, just days before the event, Ms Vogl pulled the plug on Ms Fleur’s invitation after other cast members raised objections about her attendance.
The uninvite message
In a screenshot shared on TikTok by Ms Fleur, Ms Vogl explained her position in a private message.
“A couple of concerns have been raised by attendees that I need to take seriously, and after a lot of thought, I’ve had to make the really difficult decision to withdraw your invitation to the event,” the message read.
“I want to be really clear that this is NOT about you and I, or a reflection of how I personally feel about you.
“It’s simply a decision I’ve had to make as the person hosting the event, taking into consideration the comfort of everyone who will be there.
“I know this may feel hurtful and I’m genuinely sorry to put you in this position … Ultimately, I’ve had to decide what will be best for the event.”

‘People need to grow up’
Addressing the snub on TikTok, Ms Fleur claimed she holds no grudge against Ms Vogl, but slammed the unnamed co-stars who raised issues about her attendance.
“Some people have been uncomfortable attendees by the mere presence … of me and my boyfriend being at the event,” Ms Fleur said to her followers.
“I just want to make something very clear: I was just at an event with half of the cast … and absolutely nothing happened.
“I think people need to let go of the bulls**t. It’s been over a year. Who cares?”

Ms Fleur highlighted that she is currently pregnant and in a completely different chapter of her life, stating she has zero interest in reviving old TV drama.

Following Ms Fleur’s video, Ms Vogl stood by her choice as an event host for her new game.
“It wasn’t an easy or enjoyable decision to make, and it wasn’t personal between Gia and I,” Ms Vogl told news.com.au.
“Given the circumstances, I needed to do what I felt was best for the Mindgasm launch, which meant respecting concerns raised by some of my guests about her attendance.
“Withdrawing an invitation is never comfortable, but ultimately my priority was protecting the event and ensuring the focus remained on Mindgasm and the countless hours of work that had gone into bringing it to life.”
