SHOCKING Transformation: Matt Preston UNRECOGNISABLE in Dramatic New Look – Fans Say He Looks ’20 Years Younger’! You’ll Be HOOKED!
The 65-year-old debuted his new beard-free look, leaving viewers lost for words.
The restaurant critic, who judged the show’s first 11 seasons from 2009 to 2019, was known for his signature goatee and moustache, though he sported a clean-shaven look in the early days.
While abroad in Barcelona this week, the 65-year-old shared a series of photos online revealing he’s shaved it all off to cope with the European heat.

“A whole new look? What do you think? The big question: Does the beard go for good or stay?” He captioned the Instagram post.
The 65-year-old can be seen wearing a t-shirt and white pants with his chin and hairless for the first time in years.
Others were quick to share their shock, with many saying the new style makes Matt look “20 years younger”.

“Keep it like that! You look so much younger!” one person commented.
“Who are you and what have you done with Matt?” another said.
“This Reel should have come with a trigger warning,” a third joked.
“Holy s***… baby Matt. I might get rid of my beard now,” another added.

Others said Matt looks “handsome no matter what” while others said he should keep the beard for winter but not summer to mix it up.
In 2009, he was usually clean shaven but the look evolved over the years.
More recently at the 66th TV WEEK Logie Awards in Sydney on August 16, Matt can be seen in photos with his iconic goatee moustache.
